Suzanne L. Robichaud | Lawyer

Suzanne, owner, and operator of Scotia Law Inc. has been practicing law since becoming a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society in 2010. She concentrates her practice in the areas of Real Estate Law and Wills and Estates.  She represents a wide range of clients such as builders, financial institutions as well as clients looking to purchase, sell or refinance their home. Her knowledge and experience put all of her clients at ease during the home buying and selling process and she ensures that all of her clients are thoroughly educated regarding all aspects of the transaction.  Suzanne’s favorite part of any transaction is seeing the excitement in her client’s eyes when she and her team get them to the finish line! 

 

Suzanne is from the small town of Weymouth, Nova Scotia, located on the south western shore of the province.  She is a proud Acadian and one of Suzanne’s greatest attributes is the fact that she is completely bilingual. 

 

Suzanne services all of the francophone HRM and is involved in the surrounding French community. Suzanne graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Saint Mary’s University in 2005. She went on to attend Universite de Moncton and graduated with her law degree in 2009.  When Suzanne isn’t working, she loves to travel, (especially to Disney) read and spend time with her husband, Joel.

Alexandra Reynolds | Paralegal

Alexandra joined the Scotia Law team in Spring 2024, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and a genuine passion for real estate law. After completing her paralegal studies with distinction, she gained diverse experience across various legal areas, including insolvency and personal injury, before honing her focus on real estate, wills, and estates. 

Outside of her professional pursuits, Alexandra enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, going for invigorating runs, and immersing herself in captivating books. When she’s not engaged in these activities, she’s likely jetting off to explore exciting new destinations around the globe.

Toni Livingston | Paralegal

Toni started as a part-time legal assistant in 2006 and graduated from Eastern College in 2009 and began her career as a Paralegal in a Dartmouth law firm for the next 5 years when she decided to try a new adventure.  After spending five years as an Assistant Administrative Manager with a local Grocery Store, she realized her passion for the legal field and returned to her roots. Now, she specializes in preparing mortgage documents, a task she genuinely enjoys for its complexity and critical role in real estate transactions.

 

Outside of work, Toni is the Head Coach of the Sackville Skating Club, where she loves sharing her passion for figure skating. She enjoys spending time at the rink with her daughter, cheering at the football/baseball field with her son and watching her 3 year old play and interact with his 2 older siblings and try to be “just like them”.

Jenna Kendrick | Paralegal

Jenna joined Scotia Law Inc after completing the Paralegal Program at Eastern College. Her passion for the legal field emerged during her undergraduate degree at Saint Mary's University, where she earned her degree in 2023. Since starting her career, Jenna has developed a particular interest in real estate law. 

Outside of the office, Jenna can be found reading, spending time with her partner, and taking care of her many house plants.​

Brittney Baker | Legal Assistant

With a degree in criminology and psychology, plus a year of post-graduate study in addictions and mental health, Brittney has a strong foundation in understanding human behavior. After a period of working as a pension analyst, she realized her true interests lay in returning to her law-related roots.

 

Outside of work, she enjoys cooking homemade meals, curling up with a good book, spending time in nature, and catching up with friends. She lives with her cat, Iris—who considers herself both a roommate and a life coach, especially when it comes to enforcing nap time.

Shanna Clarito | Client Care Coordinator

Shanna graduated in 2023 with a degree in Business Administration: Accounting from New Brunswick Community College (NBCC), where she honed her expertise in financial management, organizational systems, and communication. Since joining our team in February 2025, she has leveraged her strong organizational skills and attention to detail to streamline client interactions, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure a high level of satisfaction. Shanna is committed to continuous learning and development in her field, while still being able to expand her horizons and learn many other things.

Outside of her professional life, Shanna enjoys crocheting, and spending quality time with friends and family. She is also an active member of her church community, valuing both personal growth and relationships.
