Suzanne, owner, and operator of Scotia Law Inc. has been practicing various areas of law since becoming a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society in 2010. She concentrates her practice in the areas of Real Estate Law and Wills and Estates.  She represents a wide range of clients such as builders, private lenders, financial institutions as well as clients looking to purchase, sell or refinance their home. Her knowledge and experience put all of her clients at ease during the home buying and selling process and she ensures that all of her clients are thoroughly educated regarding all aspects of the transaction.

 

She helps navigate her clients through all the steps of an estate plan or probate matter making sure her clients are comfortable and well advised through the process.

 

She thoroughly enjoys working with and for seniors and as a result became a board member with the Oceanview Continuing Care Centre in Eastern Passage.

 

One of Suzanne’s greatest attributes is the fact that she is completely bilingual, having attended and completing her law degree at l’Universite de Moncton. Suzanne services all of the francophone HRM and is very actively involved in the surrounding French community. She has been on the board of Directors of la Chambre de commerce Francophone d’Halifax for the past six years. Suzanne graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in sociology from Saint Mary’s University in 2005. She went on to attend Universite de Moncton and graduated with her law degree in 2009.
