Suzanne L. Robichaud
Suzanne, owner, and operator of Scotia Law Inc. has been practicing law since becoming a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society in 2010. She concentrates her practice in the areas of Real Estate Law and Wills and Estates. She represents a wide range of clients such as builders, financial institutions as well as clients looking to purchase, sell or refinance their home. Her knowledge and experience put all of her clients at ease during the home buying and selling process and she ensures that all of her clients are thoroughly educated regarding all aspects of the transaction. Suzanne’s favorite part of any transaction is seeing the excitement in her client’s eyes when she and her team get them to the finish line!
Suzanne is from the small town of Weymouth, Nova Scotia, located on the south western shore of the province. She is a proud Acadian and one of Suzanne’s greatest attributes is the fact that she is completely bilingual.
Suzanne services all of the francophone HRM and is involved in the surrounding French community. Suzanne graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Saint Mary’s University in 2005. She went on to attend Universite de Moncton and graduated with her law degree in 2009. When Suzanne isn’t working, she loves to travel, (especially to Disney) read and spend time with her husband, Joel.

Alexandra Reynolds
Alexandra joined the Scotia Law team in Spring 2024, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and a genuine passion for real estate law. After completing her paralegal studies with distinction, she gained diverse experience across various legal areas, including insolvency and personal injury, before honing her focus on real estate, wills, and estates.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Alexandra enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, going for invigorating runs, and immersing herself in captivating books. When she’s not engaged in these activities, she’s likely jetting off to explore exciting new destinations around the globe.
Toni Livingston
Toni started as a part-time legal assistant in 2006 and graduated from Eastern College in 2009 and began her career as a Paralegal in a Dartmouth law firm for the next 5 years when she decided to try a new adventure. After spending five years as an Assistant Administrative Manager with a local Grocery Store, she realized her passion for the legal field and returned to her roots. Now, she specializes in preparing mortgage documents, a task she genuinely enjoys for its complexity and critical role in real estate transactions.
Outside of work, Toni is the Head Coach of the Sackville Skating Club, where she loves sharing her passion for figure skating. She enjoys spending time at the rink with her daughter, cheering at the football/baseball field with her son and watching her 3 year old play and interact with his 2 older siblings and try to be “just like them”.
Sukhbeer Kaur
Sukhbeer Kaur is a skilled and dedicated legal assistant with nearly three years of experience working in Ontario. During her time there, she honed her expertise in the legal field, providing valuable support to legal teams and clients. In 2021, she completed her Legal Assistant diploma at Mohawk College, which provided her with a solid foundation for her career.
Seeking new opportunities and adventures, Sukhbeer moved to Nova Scotia to explore fresh professional prospects and broaden her horizons. Outside of her career, she is passionate about learning and enjoys discovering new things. Her hobbies include hiking, exploring trails, and painting, activities that allow her to unwind and express her creativity.
Originally from India, Sukhbeer moved to Canada five years ago. Her diverse background and international perspective continue to shape her approach to both work and life.
Trelawney Erwin
With extensive experience in administration and an organization enthusiast, Trelawney joined Scotia Law as the Client Care Coordinator in 2024. Her eclectic background includes a BA in Dramatic Arts, entertainment, administration, and marketing.
When not behind the desk at Scotia Law, Trelawney can be found building websites, learning new skills, and occasionally voice acting.
